GROUNDBREAKING CEREMONY

FOR MORE INFO: The Thomson-McDuffie County Habitat for Humanity is having a ground breaking ceremony for their sixth house to be built on First Street. Directions: Go south on Wrens Highway, turn left on Pitts Street and right on First Street. A Habitat sign will be at the site.

AUGUSTA PREP VOLLEYBALL CAMPS

FOR MORE INFO: June 7-8, June 21-25 and July 19-20. There are two sessions per camp, middle school from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. (grades 5-8) and high school from 1-4 p.m. (grades 9-12). FAMILY Y SWIM LESSONS SUMMER SESSION

Lessons are held in two-week sessions Monday through Thursday at the indoor pools at the Wilson Family Y and Aiken County Family YMCA and at the outdoor pools at White Oak Campground in Thomson. FREE MUSIC CAMP
