MARTINEZ, Ga. - Mr.
McKie Leonard "Bill"
Mathis, son of the late Mr.
and Mrs. William and Inez
Brown Mathis, entered into
rest May 19, 2010 at his
residence.
Mr. Mathis, a native of
Augusta, was retired from
the U.S. Army after 22 years
of service.Survivors include two daughters: Sherry Mann, Martinez,
Ga., Charlotte Guy, Thomson; one sister: Jean Rook, Fairburn,
Ga.; seven grandchildren and several great- grandchildren .
Memorial services were held Thursday at 5 p.m. at McNeill
Funeral Home, Chaplain Green officiating, with full military
honors.
McNeill Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
