Hyatt-Epting

SGM (Ret) Harold H. Hyatt II and Joyce M. Hyatt of Thomson are proud to announce the engagement of their daughter, Jessica Megan Hyatt to Andrew Albert Epting, son of Albert T. Epting, Tammye N. Berry, and step-son of Scott R. Berry, all of Watkinsville, Ga.

The bride-elect is a 2004 Georgia home school graduate, a 2008 Summa Cum Laude and Phi Kappa Phi honor society graduate of Augusta State University where she received her bachelors degree in communications with minors in anthropology and Spanish. She is currently on staff with Campus Outreach College Ministry assigned to the Valdosta State University campus.

Miss Hyatt is the granddaughter of the late CSM Harold H. Hyatt and Barbara Hyatt of Lacy, WA, the late Ida (Esposito) Burgin of NY, and John and Marcy Hynes of East Burne, NY.

Mr. Epting is the grandson of the late Eugene and Frances Epting of Athens, Ga., and the grandson of Jim and Sallye Nisewonger of Cleveland, Ga.. He is a 2003 graduate of Oconee High School in Watkinsville and a 2007 cum laude honor graduate of Augusta State University with a bachelors degree in English. He is a member of the Phi Kappa Alpha Fraternity. He is currently the campus director for Campus Outreach College Ministry at Georgia College and State University in Milledgeville, Ga.

The wedding will take place July 31, 2010, at First Presbyterian Church in Augusta, with a reception and dancing to follow. The ceremony will be co-officiated by Chris Drinkard, Campus Outreach Regional Director, and the bride's uncle, Kevin "Chappy" Hynes, Chaplain, UGA Football team and Director, Fellowship of Christian Athletes at UGA.

Newlyweds, Drew and Jes Epting, will make their home in Milledgeville, Ga., where they will serve in Campus Outreach College Ministry together at GCSU after returning from a honeymoon in Maine.
