FOR MORE INFO: The cannery will be open from 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. June 22-24, June 29-30, July 1, July 6-8, July 15, July 20-22 and July 27-29. Canning vegetables is a 40 cents charge per can. THS TO ADMINISTER EOCT

WHERE: Thomson High School

WHEN: June 23

FOR MORE INFO: THS will administer the Georgia End-of-Course Tests for students enrolled in summer credit recovery. Math EOCTs will be administered at 9 a.m. and all other EOCTs will be administered at 1 p.m. Parents should note that the EOCT comprises 15% of the student's grade in any EOCT course; students enrolled in EOCT courses must take the tests in order to receive credit for the classes.

SNAKE SAFETY

FIRST SATURDAY

WHERE: Downtown Warrenton

FOR MORE INFO: Patriotic day parade and first Saturday tennis tourney. Starting at 10 a.m., they will have a patriotic parade. Everyone is invited to decorate in red, white and blue their golf cart, bicycle, car or truck and meet at the Warren Street parking lot, in front of the library, at 9:30 a.m. to line up. The parade will travel to City Park, where they will gather for watermelon eating and the annual Pie Bake-Off. Around 11:30 a.m., the Tennis Tourney will begin. If anyone would like to participate in the tourney or to enter the bake-off please pick up entry forms at the Chamber office on South Norwood Street or download one at www.EventsInWarrenCountyGA.org.
