Mr. Clinton Hobbs
Retired Automotive Mechanic
THOMSON, Ga. - Mr. Clinton Hobbs, 89, widower of
Mrs. Ethel Mae Hobbs, died Tuesday, June 8, 2010, in the
Thomson Health & Rehabilitation Center.
Graveside services were held at 11 a.m. Thursday, June
10, in the Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens with Rev.
Jimmy Richardson officiating.
Mr. Hobbs was a native of Warren County, but had lived
in Thomson for many years. He was a retired automotive
Mechanic. Mr. Hobbs served in the Army-Air Corps,
and was a World War II veteran. He was a member of
Sweetwater Baptist Church.
Survivors include his daughter, Linda Wilson, Evans; his
two sons, Tommy Hobbs, Perry Hobbs, both of Thomson;
his sister, Audrey Moon, Thomson; his brother, W. Henry
Hobbs, Dearing; five grandchildren, and five greatgrandchildren.
Curtis Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
