A BATTLE IS WON BEFORE IT STARTS - LOGISTICS DURING THE CIVIL WAR

WHERE: Jockey Club restaurant on The Square in Washington

FOR MORE INFO: Mr. Dan Brown, curator of the Signal Corp Museum at Fort Gordon will present a program on the absolutely critical component of logistics during the Civil War to the Washington Civil War Round Table. The cost of the meeting is $10 per person and includes a very nice dinner. FOR MORE INFO: A hands-on community forum for understanding health care and its importance in prolonging life. Health care volunteers will offer blood pressure readings, glucose readings, cholesterol screenings, healthy dental education, dialysis education and much more. The health fair is free to the public and the goal is to assist the members of this community with becoming more educated on the topic of healthy living. Call 706-733-6615.

FAMILY Y SWIM LESSONS SUMMER SESSION

WHEN: June 21 - July 21

FOR MORE INFO: Offering swim lessons for all ages and skill levels, ages 6 months to adult beginners. Lessons are held in two-week sessions Monday through Thursday at the indoor pools at the Wilson Family Y and Aiken County Family YMCA and at the outdoor pools at White Oak Campground in Thomson.
