Mrs. Jennifer Willis Tschida
HARLEM, Ga. - Mrs. Jennifer Willis Tschida, 53, wife
of Kevin Tschida, entered into rest Monday, June 14, 2010,
after a three year battle with breast cancer, at Doctors
Hospital, Augusta, Ga.
Memorial services were held at 11:30 a.m. Friday, June
18, 2010, at Harlem United Methodist Church with the
Rev. Beverly Castevens officiating.
Jennifer was born in Anchorage, Alaska to the late Col.
O.W. Willis and Rubye Willis. She was the first woman
to become a member of the Lions Club in Harlem. She
was a member of the Masters Bowling Lanes and was a
competitive bowler and assisted with the Special Bowling
Olympics. Jennifer was a member of the Harlem United
Methodist Church.
In addition to her husband, survivors include one
daughter Stephanie (Jack) Joesbury, Thomson; one brother
Michael (Candace) Willis, Grovetown; two sisters, Cynthia
(Joseph) Lanford and Marie (Davey) Story, of Harlem.
She was preceded in death by a brother John (Jay)
Willis.
Starling Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
