Mr. Jason Walker McCorkle
THOMSON, Ga. - Mr. Jason Walker McCorkle, 23,
beloved son of Paul and Bonnie McCorkle, died Monday July
5, 2010.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 8, in
Thomson First United Methodist Church with Rev. John
Barnes officiating. Burial was in Savannah Valley Memorial
Gardens.
Mr. McCorkle was a student at Augusta State University. He
was a member of Thomson First United Methodist Church.
He was an avid hunter, fisherman, and golfer.
Survivors include his parents, Paul and Bonnie McCorkle,
Thomson; his brother, Jon McCorkle, Thomson; his paternal
grandmother, Lucy McCorkle, Thomson; and his aunts and
uncles, Gayle and Sammy McCorkle, Martha and Lynn
Reeves, and Robbi and Pete Gilmore.
Friends may call at the residence or at the Curtis Funeral
Home. The family will receive friends on Wednesday night at
the residence. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
