Wilson-Tondee

Mary Allen Wilson and Steven Greene Tondee were united in marriage at 7 p.m., Saturday, June 26, 2010, at First United Methodist Church in Thomson. Rev. Charles Elliott Broome officiated.

Mary Allen is the daughter of Mrs. Stewart Allen Wilson of Thomson and the late Stewart Allen Wilson. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Roland Shannon Berry and the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert Norman Wilson. Mary Allen is a graduate of Thomson High School and The University of Georgia with a masters of arts in teaching.

Steven is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Terry Tondee of Ellaville, Ga. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. William Lawrence Bickerstaff of Buena Vista, Ga., the late Dr. Beverly Wood Forester of Macon and the late Mr. and Mrs. Paul Tondee of Ellaville, Ga. Steven is a graduate of Southland Academy and The University of Georgia and is employed by SunTrust Bank as a commercial banker.

Given in marriage by her mother, Mary Allen chose her sister, Virginia Marie "Ginny" Wilson as her maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Kimberly Hope Harrison, cousin of the bride, Catherine Merritt Tondee, sister of the groom, Ashley Michelle Jones, Georgia Leigh Brogdon, Dana Lea Westmoreland, and Katherine Louise Shattuck, all friends of the bride.

Steven chose his father, Paul Terry Tondee as his best man. Groomsmen were Christopher Phillip Harrison, cousin of the bride, Brenton Taylor Bird, Douglas Ryan Brumlow, Nathan Hathaway Estes, David Carl Jensen, Jr., Weston Wright Mobley, Carl Alexander Rhodes, Jr. and Maxwell Warren Watson, all friends of the groom.

Greeters were Mr. and Mrs. James Ira Alfriend, Mr. and Mrs. William Alexander Dozier, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Charles Goodyear and Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Gheesling Lunceford, all friends of the bride. Program attendants were Ashley Irene Barnett, Dorothy Austin Knox and Ashton Robin Whitaker, all high school and church friends of the bride.

Musicians were Jeannie Joesbury, soloist, Sandra Pritchard, organist and Dickey Fallin, trumpet.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the home of the bride's family. The couple will honeymoon in Jamaica and will reside in Columbus, Ga.
