Mr. James Davis
Retired Two State
THOMSON, Ga. - Mr. James Davis, 69, widower of Mrs.
Joann Davis, died, Tuesday, July 6, 2010 in the McDuffie
Regional Medical Center.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Friday, July 9, in
the Curtis Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mike Sutphin
officiating. Burial was in the Savannah Valley Memorial
Gardens.
Mr. Davis was a lifelong resident of McDuffie Co. He had
retired from Two State as a carpenter.
Survivors include his two sons, Joey Davis, James Davis
Jr., both of Thomson; his two daughters, Tina Wells, and
Tammy Davis, both of Thomson; his four sisters, JoAnn
Bowick, Shirley Axon, Elizabeth Wells, and Lois Reese, all
of Thomson; and his two granddaughters, Lacey Tapley and
Madison Davis.
Pallbearers were Mike Huff, Randy Huff, Nick Davis,
Wayne Bowick, Chris Dye, and Lee Dye.
Curtis Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
