FOR MORE INFO: Presented by the University of Georgia Cooperative Extension, this is a six-week educational series to provide family caregivers with tools to increase their self-care and confidence. Caregivers care for others who need assistance with daily living and emotional support as they face chronic illness, disability or death. A participation fee of $35 includes "The Caregiver Helpbook," which is required, and will be accepted at the Extension Office, 116 Main St., Thomson. Class size is limited to 15. Registration deadline is Thursday, July 22. Past class participants indicate improved emotions, including reduced anger, guilt and depression.
