Student/athletes interested in playing football at Thomson-McDuffie Middle School are reminded that football practice is right around the corner.
TMMS Athletic Director and Football Head Coach Aaron Hall said practice will begin Monday, Aug. 9, beginning at 3:30 p.m. in The Brickyard. Practice session will be for players in both the seventh and eighth grades. Practice will end at 6 p.m.
Players can be picked up by their parents or other adults at 6:15 p.m.
Those planning to play and academically eligible are also reminded that equipment will be issued to eighth-graders on Tuesday, Aug. 3 between 5 p.m. and 5:45 p.m. at the football stadium.
Seventh-graders, meanwhile, can pick up their equipment on Wednesday, Aug. 4 between the hours of 5 p.m. and 5:45 p.m. -- again in the stadium, coach Hall said.
