Mrs. Shirley W. Phillips

THOMSON, Ga. - Mrs. Shirley W. Phillips, 65, widow of Mr.
William Phillips, of Thomson, died Tuesday, July 27, 2010, at
her residence.
Funeral services were held at 5 p.m. Friday, July 30, in the
Little Brier Creek Baptist Church with Dr. Randy Dunaway and
Rev. Tim Ferrell officiating. Burial was in Westview Cemetery.
Mrs. Phillips was a native of Wilkes County, but had lived
in McDuffie County for many years. She was retired from the
Thomson Company and attended Little Brier Creek Baptist
Church.
Survivors include her two daughters, Mrs. Ree Walker and
Mrs. Chrissy Zimmerman, both of Thomson; her son, Jeff
Phillips, Thomson; her sister, Carrie Cato, Grovetown; and her
nine grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Bobby Gene Hadden, Donnie Hadden, Travis
Hadden, Obie Morris, Charles Morris, and Derek Hoyle.
Curtis Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
