Mr. John Edward Rucker

DEARING, Ga. - Mr. John Edward Rucker of Dearing, entered
into rest July 30, 2010 at Doctors Hospital. He was the beloved
husband of Karen Rucker.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, August 03, 2010
at the Beggs Funeral Home Chapel.
Mr. Rucker was a native of Memphis , Tennessee and lived
in Dearing for the past three years. He was the son of the late
Edward Rucker and the late Mary Ella Taylor. He served in the
U.S. Air Force, the U.S. Navy and retired from the U. S. Army
with 32 years total service. Mr. Rucker was a member of Greater
Harvest Church of God in Christ of Memphis, TN.
Survivors include his wife;
Karen Rucker, Dearing;
daughters, Susan Lopez,
Dearing, Sibil Moore,
Mountain House, CA; sons,
Tim Daniels, Dearing,GA,
Antonio Rucker, Kim
Rucker both of Antioch,CA;
brothers, Ralph Edward
Rucker, Richard Rucker
both of Memphis, TN; sisters,
Earnestine Chism, Juanita
Johnson both of Memphis,
TN, Maie Harris, Hercules, CA,
Mary Robinson, Manteca, CA,
Theresa Robinson, Aurora, IL;
six grandchildren and one
great-grandchild.
Mr. Rucker took great
pride in rearing two children
Craig and Charlene. He was
preceded in death by a sister,
Lela Jean Webster.
Beggs Funeral Home was in
charge of arrangements.
