WRENS, Ga. - Funeral services for Mr. Willie J. "Nick"
Lane , 44, Wrens, was held on Saturday, August 7, 2010 at 3:
30 p.m. at Mt. Aldred C.M.E. Church, Warrenton with the
Rev. Dr. Willie J. Wiley, pastor, officiating. Interment was
in the church cemetery. Survivors are his wife, Sabrina Lane,
Augusta; five children, Drew Lane, Justin Lane, Kaitlin Lane,
Jordan Lane all of Pennsylvania; Anthony Lane, El Paso,
TX; devoted sister, Laverne Lane Tucker, Wrens, Eulaunda
Nicholson, Katrina (Frank) Shields, both of Wrens; father,
Richard (Mary) Murray, Wrens; two brothers, Lionel Murray,
Wrens, Barry Roberts, Stapleton; seven aunts, Jerlene (Bill)
McQueen, Evans, Eva Jean (Leotis) Smith, Darlene Lockhart,
all of Augusta, Jenette McCoy, Evelyn Hudson, Johnnie Mae
Murray, Carolyn Murray all of Wrens; five uncles, Raymond
McNair, Sedric (Margaret) McNair both of Augusta, Willie
(Teresa) Lane, Thomson, Sammie Lane, George (Minnie)
Lane both of Wrens; seven nieces, four nephews, and a host
of other relatives and friends.
Freeman Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
