Mr. Leroy Johnson

WARRENTON, Ga. - Mr. Leroy Johnson, 76 of
Warrenton, entered into rest August 10, 2010, at MCG.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m., Thursday, August
12, 2010, at the Beggs Funeral Home Chapel with Rev.
Bill South officiating. Interment followed in the Millcreek
Baptist Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Charles Reese, Randall Reese, Danny
Reese, Gerald Johnson, Larry May and Allen Troy.
Mr. Johnson was born in Glascock County, but lived in
Warrenton most of his life. He was the son of the late Charlie
Johnson and the late Mary Catherine Whitehead Johnson.
Mr. Johnson was retired as a finish painter from Jebco in
Warrenton. He was a member of Grace Baptist Church.
Survivors include his beloved wife of over 50 years,
Sally Cooper Johnson, Warrenton; sons, Leroy Johnson,
Jr.( Therese), Lincolnton,, Billy Joe Johnson (Brenda),
John Edward Johnson (Lee Ann) all of Warrenton; sisters,
Lizzie Mae King, Thomson, Betty Jean Hyman, Cadley;
eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and adopted
daughter, Lynn Kent.
Beggs Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
