A 17-year-old Thomson man is being held in jail at the McDuffie County Law Enforcement Center as a suspect in a recent residential break-in.
McDuffie County Sheriff's Department Investigator Al Reeves identified the suspect as Dejarvias Q. Ramsey, of the 300 block of Edgar Circle.
Mr. Ramsey, who was taken into custody on Aug. 20, has been charged with one count of burglary.
"He also is a person of interest in several other residential break-ins in McDuffie County," Investigator Reeves said.
Mr. Ramsey is accused of having forced his way into a residence on the 1400 block of Dallas Drive on the outskirts of Thomson on Aug. 15.
Mr. Ramsey still was awaiting bail on Monday.
