Mrs. Pauline W. Borders

THOMSON, Ga. - Mrs. Pauline W. Borders, 81, widow of
Mr. C. Reid Borders, of Thomson, died Friday, August 27,
2010, in the Thomson Health & Rehabilitation Center.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, August 29,
in the Curtis Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. James Ramsey
officiating. Burial was in the Savannah Valley Memorial
Gardens.
Mrs. Borders was a native of Jefferson County, but had
lived in Thomson for many years. She was the daughter
of the late Tommie and Lizzie Kate Wasden of Louisville,
Ga. She was a homemaker and a member of Thomson First
Baptist Church.
Survivors include her three daughters, Linda (David)
Owens, N. Augusta. Paula Titus, Augusta, and Libby
(Jimmy) Ansley, Thomson; a son, Reid Borders, Thomson;
two sisters, Laverne (Gary) Dorn, Evans, and Elizabeth Belk,
N. Augusta; seven grandchildren, Clay Holliman, Pam
Langford, Jamie Titus, Brooke Barnes, Clint Borders, Andrea
Michaels, and Megan Borders; three step-grandchildren,
Brooke O-Gara, Holly Ansley, and Robin Meehan; and 19
great-grandchildren.
Curtis Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
