Mr. William McGahee
Dearing, Ga. - Mr. William McGahee, 75, of Dearing,
died Friday, August 27, 2010, in the Thomson Health &
Rehabilitation Center.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Monday, August 30,
2010 in the Curtis Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ronald
Young officiating. Burial was in the Fort Creek Baptist Church
Cemetery.
Mr. McGahee was a life long resident of McDuffie County.
Mr. McGahee was preceded in death by his parents Andrew
and Maggie McGahee, his brothers, Marcus McGahee, Hubert
McGahee, his sisters, Nettie Sims, Louise Colvin and Shirley
McGahee.
Survivors include his two brothers, Talmadge McGahee, John
(Elizabeth) McGahee, both of Dearing; and several nieces and
nephews.
Pallbearers were Ricky McGahee, Tony Colvin, Mack McGahee,
Calaway Workman, Tommy Radford, and Preston McGahee.
Curtis Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
