Bring your own picnic lunch - no food available onsite. You might want to bring picnic blankets, chairs, etc. Kayaking: Bring your own kayak or canoe to paddle around the river near the mill. This will not be guided and paddling will be at your own risk. The current is very slow (if there has been no heavy rain) and you can paddle was much as 102 miles upstream from the mill pretty easily. Tour of Ogeechee River Mill: Ogeechee River Mill cornmeal and hushpuppy mix will be for sale. Camping under the stars (bring your own tent. Camping is available across the river from the mill. There is a portable toilet and drinking water available. No showers, etc. gathering at the firepit for marshmallow roast.
