Mrs. Geraldine W. Muns
Retired Nurse
THOMSON, Ga. - Mrs. Geraldine W. Muns, 72, widow
of Mr. Carl Muns Jr., passed away, Wednesday, September 1,
2010, in the University Hospital.
Graveside services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, September
4, in the Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens with the Rev.
Jason Burton officiating.
Mrs. Muns was a native of Glascock Co. but had lived in
Dearing and Thomson for many years. She had retired as a
nurse from the V.A. Medical Center. She was a member of
the Wrens Church of God.
Mrs. Muns was preceded in death by her mother and
father, Mr. J.F. Williford, Mrs. Nelle Ruth Todd Williford,
and a brother, Louie Williford.
Survivors include her four sisters, Hazel Lott, Harlem;
Rachel Roberts, Lakeland Fl.; Connie Coffman, Jefferson;
Dianne James, Thomson; a brother, Larry Williford,
Winder; three nieces, Melissa Roberts, Laurie Williford,
Donna Davis, and a nephew, John James Jr.
Curtis Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
