Christina Renea "Liza" Dorsey Morris
AUGUSTA, Ga. - Life began for a soul, a bouncing
baby girl named Christina Renea "Liza" Dorsey Morris on
October 29, 1972 in Augusta. She was a member of Water
Branch Baptist Church, Grovetown. Liza was educated in
the public schools of McDuffie County and was employed
at Harlem Middle School. Liza dedicated her life to the care
and support of her family. She was a very dedicated mother,
grandmother and aunt who spent long hours with her grand
child, nieces, and nephews.
Liza leaves to cherish her memories: husband, Garry
Morris, three daughters, Shaniqua Morris, Shameika
Morris, and Shawanda Ealy; grandson, Jabari "Josh" Morris;
granddaughter, Nakilla Ealy; parents, Eddie( Minister
Louise) Boyd, Sr., and Bennie Dorsey; nine brothers, Eddie
Boyd, Jr., Jeffrey Boyd, Derrick Boyd, Michael Dunn,
Carl(Jennifer) Dorsey, Michael Lazenby, Lavar Beard, Carlos
Elam, and Laron Gibson; four sisters, Malona (Randy)
Turner, Latonja Williams, Carla Dorsey, and Markeisha
Dorsey; a loving and steadfast friend that she loved like a
sister, Shawkenna Bradshaw; mother-in-law, Isabell Morris;
two brothers-in-law, John (Yalonda) Morris, Jr., Clifton
(Vickie) Morris; sister-in-law, Vickie (James) Williams;
2 loving and devoted cousins, Martha Dorsey and Letitia
Dorsey; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews that she
treasured, other relatives and friends, all of whom she loved
dearly. "We Love you Harlem, will be held on dearly, but
God loves best."
Funeral services for Mrs. Christina Dorsey Morris, 37, will
be held Thursday, September 9, 2010 at 2 p.m. at the Water
Branch Baptist Church, Grovetown with Pastor, Rev. L.J.
Tanksley, Presiding and Rev. R. F. Leverette, Officiating.
Interment: Water Branch Memorial Gardens.
