Mr. James "Jimmy" Furman Warren

THOMSON, Ga. - Mr. James "Jimmy" Furman Warren,
82, widower of Mrs. Claire Hasting Warren, died Saturday,
August 28, 2010, at his daughter's residence.
A Memorial service was held at 1 p.m., Saturday,
September 4, 2010, at the Holy Cross Catholic Church in
Atlanta. Burial followed in Oakland Cemetery in Atlanta.
Mr. Warren was a native of Denmark, S.C., but had lived
in Atlanta most of his life, before moving to Thomson
several years ago. He was the retired sales manager for
Ashland Oil Company. He was a member of the Holy Cross
Catholic Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mrs. Claire H.
Warren and a daughter, Mary Ellen Bennett.
He was a beloved Father
to his surviving daughters,
Barbara (Tim) McGuire,
Atlanta, Nancy (Jim)
McClintock, Greenville S.C.,
Peggy (Ernest) McWilliams,
Atlanta, and Claire (David)
Russell, Thomson; a brother,
J.J. Warren, Columbia, S.C.;
11 grandchildren and 5
great- grandchildren.
Curtis Funeral Home was
in charge of arrangements.
