Mrs. Karen Janice "Jan" Easters Cumber

WARRENTON, Ga. - Mrs. Karen Janice "Jan" Easters Cumber,
57, wife of Mr. Dwight W. Cumber of Warrenton, died Saturday
September 11, 2010 at the Medical College of Georgia .
Funeral Services were held at 11 a.m.. Tuesday September 14,
2010, at the First Baptist Church of Warrenton, with the Revs.
Mike Dann and Jim Hanna officiating. Private family interment
services were in the New Providence Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Cumber, a native of Plant City, FL had live in Warrenton
since 1989. She was a self employed artist and a member of the First
Baptist Church of Warrenton.
Survivors include her husband of 36 years Dwight W. Cumber;
one daughter Sonya Cumber (Jamie) Spragis of Warrenton; one son,
Chuck (Debbie) Cumber, Thomson; her father, Cy (Ruth) Easters,
Crawfordville; three sisters, Gail (Bill) Nickerson, of Geneva, FL,
Kathy (Darien) Coots, of Lawrenceville, GA, and Lisa (Brian)
Stewart of Bloomington, IL.; five grandchildren, Terrence, Chad,
Nick (Emily), Taylor and Anna Leigh. Mrs. Cumber was preceded
in death by her mother, Geraldine Atkinson Peterson, and a brother,
Anthony Marcus Easters.
Pallbearers were Deacons of First Baptist Church of Warrenton.
Honorary Pallbearers were Dan Crumpton and W. F. Wilhoit.

Lowe Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
