Mrs. Ailene Smith Johnson
NORWOOD, Ga. - Mrs. Ailene Smith Johnson, 89, of Norwood,
entered into rest September 10, 2010 at Wills Memorial Hospital.
She was the beloved wife of the late Roy Neal Johnson.
Funeral services were held at 3 p.m., Sunday, September 12, 2010,
at the Norwood Baptist Church with Revs. John Jenkins and David
Jenkins officiating. Interment followed in Scruggs Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Dave Hunter, Dan Hunter, Andy Hunter, Scott
Johnson, Gary Johnson, Doug Johnson, Carl Johnson, Mike
Johnson, Neal Hunter, Katelyn Hunter, Amy Cowart and Trey
Cowart.
Mrs. Johnson was a lifelong resident of Warren County, and was the
daughter of the late Albert Smith and the late Ola Johnson Smith.
She was retired as a seamstress. Mrs. Johnson was a faithful and
devoted member of Norwood Baptist Church.
Survivors include her son, Pat Johnson and his wife Teresa of
Waynesboro; daughter, Gail Hunter and her husband, David of
Washington; grandchildren, Dave Hunter, Dan Hunter, Andy
Hunter, Scott Johnson and Amy Cowart; great grandchildren, Neal
Hunter, Katelyn Hunter; sister, Vera Buffington; brother-in-laws,
Howard Johnson, Bobby W. Johnson, Margia "Smokey" Johnson,
sister-in-law, Joe Ann Hardebeck.
Mrs. Johnson was preceded in death by a son Adrian Neal Johnson.

Jo Hadden, 2906 Macon Hwy. Warrenton, GA 30828.
Beggs Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
