Letter to the Editor

In this day and time, I cannot believe we cannot end this action in Iraq and Afghanistan. For our young people to go and put their life on the line to do their duty, we are supposed to seek and destroy. The opposition surely does that in a dastardly way.

Since 9-11 has passed again, I'm sure the murderers are laughing, saying nothing will be done to them for their actions. They should have been tried and executed. Ask survivors or relatives of 9-11. To top it all, most all Middle East countries hate us. All they want is for us to fight their battles, give huge sums of money, then leave.

I would like to really know why we are there. When we leave, it will revert back to the way it was. I really believe that. Then all has been in vain. As for Osama Bin Laden, it's hard to fathom with all the technology we have that a dirty, smelly old man with a nasty beard and robe cannot be done away with. If his whereabouts is known, no matter where it is, we should create the largest gravel pile in the world out of his cave.

Last word, our government and whoever is codling our guilty terrorists; get real. Why fight and catch them if you are not going to try and do away with them? For all of our leaders, you should be ashamed to let this continue. Just how long do we think God is going to bless this country as He has? We should think about it.
