Museum Mystery
This week's mystery item from the past is actually a mystery to the McDuffie Museum, too. Museum Director Jenny Lindsey said it is a wool baseball uniform sponsored by Knox Corp., which is written on the back of the shirt. The front of the shirt has V.C., but the name of the team is unknown. Ms. Lindsey said the uniform is on loan to the museum from Tom Wells, and is in very good condition. Anyone with information about the uniform may call Ms. Lindsey at 706-595-9923 or visit the museum on Main Street in downtown Thomson. Hours are noon until 5 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday and 2-5 p.m. on Sunday.
