Mrs. Sarah L Bennett
Appling, GA - Mrs. Sarah L. Bennett, 92 entered into rest
September 9, 2010 at the McDuffie Regional Medical Center. She
was the beloved wife of the late Asa Samuel Bennett.
Memorial services were held at 1 p.m. on Monday, September 13,
2010 at the Beggs Funeral Home Chapel for the family only.
Mrs. Bennett was a native of Gainesville, GA and was the
daughter of the late Taylor Jackson Irvin and the late Maymie Cole
Irvin of Jackson County, GA.
Survivors include her daughters, Judie Kremin (Richard) of
Appling, and Denise Yanus (Stanley) of Converse, TX., two
grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Aquinas High School, 1920 Highland
Avenue, Augusta, GA 30904-5390 or American Legion Auxiliary
Unit 593, 8202 Cattle Bend, Converse, TX 78109-2403.
Beggs Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
