Mr. Chester Chalker

GIBSON, Ga. - Mr. Chester Chalker, 79, of Gibson, entered into
rest Friday Sept. 24, 2010, at the University Hospital, Augusta.
Funeral Services were held at 2 p.m. Monday at Jordon Chapel
Church of God, with Rev. Stacey Williford and Rev. David Jones
officiating. Interment was in the Gibson City Cemetery.
Mr. Chalker was a native of Glascock, County, he was a farmer, a
textile worker, and a member of the Church of God.
He is survived by his loving wife, Mrs. Carolyn Reese Chalker, two
sons, Louie (Ponda) Chalker of Avera, and Randy Chalker of Gibson.
three daughters, Lois (Robert) Channell of Bailey N.C., Attis Keller
of Thomson, and Regenia (Randy) Forehand of Swainsboro. seven
grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Dewey and Florence
Usry Chalker, a brother Lamar chalker and a Sister Attis Irby.
Pallbearers are Quentin Weber, Erick Keller, Chris Chalker, Tony
Chalker, Thomas Poole, and Frank Youngblood Sr.
Sheppard Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements
