Mrs. Ruby Benson Edwards
THOMSON, Ga. - Mrs. Ruby Benson Edwards, 80, of Thomson,
entered into rest September 21, 2010 at her residence. She was the
beloved wife of the late Roy W. Edwards.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Saturday, September 25,
2010 at the Beggs Funeral Home Chapel with Revs. Ken Garvin
and Grant Cantrell officiating. Interment followed in Savannah
Valley Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Edwards was a native of McDuffie County and was the
daughter of the late Jack Benson and the late Olivia Benson. She
was retired from Thomson Company. Mrs. Edwards was a faithful
member of Sweetwater Baptist Church and was also a member of
the Eunice Sunday School Class.
Survivors include her son, Ronnie Edwards of Thomson; and
several nieces and nephews.
Beggs Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
