There, readers can find information on local breast cancer-related events, an inspiring story of survival, a new program to help newly-diagnosed patients, local businesses joining the fight, local ladies who are walking 60 miles to raise funds for a cure, and our hospital's newest mammography machine with the latest cancer detection system.
It's one of my favorite sections every year.
Not because I'm a girl and like pink. But because cancer is usually associated with death, yet this section is all about hope, inspiration and the blessings of life.
