Mrs. Janice Hall Breit
SPARTA, Ga. - Mrs. Janice Hall Breit, age 85, of Sparta, died
Sunday, September 26, 2010 at the Warrenton Health and Rehab
Center in Warrenton following an extended illness.
Graveside funeral services were held on Wednesday at 11a.m. at
the Mineral Springs Baptist Church in Washington County. Rev.
Steve Stokes officiated.
Mrs. Breit was born in McDuffie County the daughter of the late
William F. Hall and the late Mary Clarke Hall. She spent her career
as a registered nurse retiring from the Hancock County Health
Department. Mrs. Breit was also the former director of Nursing for
the Providence Health Care Nursing Home. She was a member of
the Sparta Baptist Church. She enjoyed painting and was an avid
gardener. Mrs. Breit's husband Johnny Breit predeceases her.
Survivors are her daughter, Bonnie B. Brown of Thomson;
grandchildren, Caroline B. Sowell (Mike) of Thomson and George
E. 'Chip' Brown Jr., (Kelley) of Sparta; great grandchildren, Blake
Sowell, Bryce Sowell, Austin Brown, Lane Brown and Bethany
Teal, and her sister, Sylvia McEver of Lawrenceville.

May and Smith Funeral Directors of Sandersville was in charge
of these arrangements.
