Mrs. Loretta R. Williams

MARTINEZ, Ga. - Mrs. Loretta R. Williams, eldest daughter
of the late Albert and Eloise Radford, went home to be with our
Lord on Wednesday, Oct. 6, 2010, after a courageous battle with an
extended illness. She was 90.
For fifty-two years she was a devoted wife to her beloved husband,
R. Carswell Williams, who preceded her in death by twenty-three
years. They had two daughters: Carolyn W. Scott of Martinez, Ga.,
and Doris W. Parks, of Augusta, Ga. Loretta, or "Ret" as she was
affectionately called, lived all her life in Augusta. Her family and
many friends thoroughly enjoyed her hearty laughter, southern
drawl, and refuge from her tender heart and listening ear. She will
be greatly missed by all who knew her. She was a member of Curtis
Baptist Church and the Senior
Sunday School Class.

Grand, Dean Parks, James
and Kevin Davidson and one
great-great -grandchild, Jessica
Aragon.
She was preceded in death
by three brothers and three
sisters: Albert, Robert, George
Radford, Rosemary Rister,
Margaret Hensley and Eloise
Varn.
Graveside services were
conducted at 2 p.m., at
Westview Cemetery with Rev.
Jeff Wright officiating.
