PARENT PORTAL OPEN AND TITLE I/TITLE II SURVEY AVAILABLE ONLINE

FOR MORE INFO: Thomson High School encourages all parents to view their children's grades and attendance through the McDuffie County School District's parent portal. To access the portal, you may visit the school and request a log-in. Photo identification is required to obtain a log-in and password. For security reasons, no log-ins or passwords can be issued through email or via the telephone. Also THS requests that all parents of current students complete the Title I/Title II parent survey online at the school district's website (www.mcduffie.k12.ga.us). This survey provides information regarding the school's parental involvement efforts and quality of instructional services. McDUFFIE COUNTY EVENING SCHOOL CREDIT RECOVERY

WHERE: Thomson High

WHEN: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 3:30-6:30 p.m.

FOR MORE INFO: This option is for Thomson High School students who have previously failed a required course for graduation. All courses are computer-based, self-paced, and aligned with the Georgia Performance Standards. The cost for each course is $50 per half-unit attempted, and students may register in the guidance office. A student is not permitted to leave early unless a parent or guardian comes to sign him/her out. Contact the guidance department at 706-986-4222.

VOLUNTEER ADVOCATES

FOR MORE INFO: Rape Crisis and Sexual Assault Services is seeking volunteer advocates. Volunteers are needed in Richmond, Burke, Jefferson and McDuffie counties. Advocates must be able to respond to hospitals in their area within 30 minutes.
