Mrs. Myrtle P. Rabun

THOMSON, Ga. - Mrs. Myrtle P. Rabun, 90, widow of Mr. John
Robert Rabun, of Thomson, died Sunday, October 17, 2010, in the
McDuffi e Regional Medical Center.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, October 20,
in the Zoar United Methodist Church with the Rev. Mike Defore
and Rev. Sam Collins offi ciating. Burial will be in the Zoar United
Methodist Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Rabun was a native of Warren County, but had lived in
Thomson for many years. She had retired from the Thomson
Company and was a homemaker. She was a member of Zoar United
Methodist Church, where she was a member of the Adult Sunday
School Class.
Survivors include her two daughters, Martha (Jim) Rivers,
Stapleton; Frankie (Warren) Kitchens, Thomson; her four sons, John
T. (Laura) Rabun, Ronnie Rabun, and Jimmie T. (Judy) Rabun, all
of Thomson; Timmy (Wanda) Rabun, Matthews; her sister, June
(Ray) Hunnicutt, Stapleton; 12 grandchildren, and several greatgrandchildren.
Pallbearers were Mark Rivers, Jeff Kitchens, Carl C. Bowen, Shaun
Hayes, Johnny Kitchens, Sammy Purvis, and Chris Hawkins.
Donations may be made to the Zoar United Methodist Church, or
to a Charity of Choice
Curtis Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
