Police look for teen, 22-year-old

A missing 16-year-old girl, who reportedly ran away from her home in nearby Appling with a young man last week, is believed to be in the McDuffie County area, authorities say.

Capt. Steve Morris of the Columbia County Sheriff's Department has identified the teen as Shelby Miranda Partridge, of the 2400 block of Louisville Road, Appling. The man is 22-year-old Michael Scott Terry.

They are believed to be traveling in a white Dodge Caravan. The license plate reads: 7986AWR. The license plate may have been replaced by one that reads: 682JTTF.

Outstanding warrants already charge Mr. Terry with interference with child custody and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

Shelby is white, 4 feet, 10 inches tall and weighs 93 pounds. She has brown hair and eyes.

Mr. Terry is white, 5 feet, 8 inches tall and weighs 166 pounds. He has brown hair and eyes.
