Ms. Irene Cranford Griffith

NORWOOD, Ga. - Ms. Irene Cranford Griffith, 95, of Norwood,
entered into rest November 3, 2010 at Trinity Hospital.
Graveside services were held at 2 p.m., Friday, November 5,
2010 at Scruggs Cemetery in Norwood with Rev. David Jenkins
officiating.
Ms. Griffith was born in Hall County, Ga., but lived in Norwood
most of her life. She was the daughter of the late William Otto
Cranford and late Mary Ella Thompson Cranford. Ms. Griffith
worked at Thomson Company, Garland Knitting Mills and Royal
Manufacturing as a seamstress for many years. She was a member of
Prospect United Methodist Church and she served as a caregiver to
many.
Survivors include her sons, Carlton Griffith and wife Jane, Larry
Griffith; sister, Lois Johnson all of Norwood, grandsons, Michael
Griffith, Chris Griffith, Casey Griffith, William Larry Griffith and
7 great-grandchildren.
