Mrs. Sarah Hazel Humphrey
DEARING, Ga. - Mrs. Sarah Hazel Humphrey, 85, wife of the
late Mr. Fred Humphrey, entered into rest Wednesday, November
3, 2010.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, November 6, 2010, at 4
p.m. at the Fort Creek Baptist Church, Dearing, Ga., with the Dr.
Phil Bray officiating. Interment followed in Hillcrest Memorial
Park Cemetery, Augusta, Ga.
Mrs. Humphrey was born in Warrenton and was a member of Fort
Creek Baptist Church.
Survivors include one son, Terry (Eve) Jackson, Dearing; one
daughter Lois (Ray) Sutton, Dearing; one brother WillIam (Frances)
Taylor, North Augusta; two sisters, Dorothy Dugan, North Augusta,
and Mary Jo Hughes, Augusta; three grandchildren, Ray H. Sutton,
Jr., Leslie Rhoden and Mary Jackson; five great grandchildren; and
a host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were David Dugan, Ray Sutton, Jr., Pete Brodie,
David Young and Wesley Rhoden and Jack Dugan.
Starling Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
