Last week's Mystery Item from the Past is a pair of ladies' boots from Kunnes Department Store. The boots are stamped with "A.R.Kunnes" on the inside and are believed to be from the early 1900s. They are part of an upcoming exhibit in the McDuffie Museum about Thomson's downtown merchants. To learn more, visit the museum on Main Street in downtown Thomson from noon until 5 p.m., Tuesday - Saturday and 2-5 p.m., Sunday. The museum will be closed for Thanksgiving.
