Mrs. Virginia N. Riley Wylie

THOMSON, Ga. - Mrs. Virginia N. Riley Wylie, 87, beloved
wife of Mr. L. Buddy Wylie, died Sunday, December 12, 2010, at
her residence.
Funeral services were held at
2 p.m. Tuesday, December 14,
in the Curtis Funeral Home
Chapel with Rev. Mike Sutphin
officiating. Burial was private.
Mrs. Wylie was a native of
Florence, Alabama, but had
lived in Thomson for many
years. She was the daughter of
the late Dr. Benjamin F. Riley
Jr. and Sarah Durham Riley. She
was a homemaker.
Mrs. Wylie was preceded in
death by a daughter, Miss Salley
Wylie.
Survivors include her
husband, Mr. L. Buddy Wylie,
Thomson; two daughters,
Ms. Bea Wylie, Augusta and
Mrs. Ginny (Lamar) Williams,
N. Augusta; two sons, Larry
(Dianne) Wylie, Suwanee, and
Foster (Pat) Wylie, Thomson;
six grandchildren and three
great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations
may be made to the Alzheimer's
Association .
Curtis Funeral Home was in
charge of arrangements.
