WARRENTON, Ga. --- A ceramic workshop was destroyed when fire raced through it on Dec. 22, a fire official says.
Warren County Fire/Rescue Chief Tommy Wolfe said the fire was fully involved when the first firefighters began arriving on the scene at 629 Mauldin Road shortly after 7 p.m.
Firefighters from Warren and Glascock counties and rangers from the Georgia Forestry Commission battled the fire and created a fire break to keep other nearby structures from catching on fire, Chief Wolfe said.
No injuries were reported.
The workshop, according to Mrs. Ralph Mauldin, had not been used for more than a month.
