Mrs. Agnes Covington Dowda
THOMSON, Ga. - Mrs. Agnes Covington Dowda, 83 of
Thomson, entered into rest December 20, 2010 at her residence.
Mrs. Dowda was a native of Ballground, Ga., and was the daughter
of the late Gordon Covington and the late Alice Starnes Covington.
She was a homemaker. Mrs. Dowda was preceded in death by her
husband, Robert C. Dowda.
Survivors include her daughter, Nancy D. Hasley, Thomson;
son, William Joseph Dowda, Round Rock, Texas; grandchildren,
Margaret Joiner, Robert Dowda, Barbara Dowda, Thomas Dowda;
two great-grandchildren and a very close friend, Orion Sebastian.
A private memorial service was held at a later date.
Beggs Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
