FOR MORE INFO: Jim Gensheer, well-known Augusta watercolor artist/teacher, has taken a group of adult students to a small village near Mezin, in the southwest of France, for the past seven years to study pleine air watercolor painting. The group traveled and stayed in a century-old renovated grist mill where Mr. Gensheer's hosts and instructor counterparts were Ray and Lynne Johnstone. Featured artists in the exhibition include John Brice, Jim Gensheer, Mo Gensheer, Jamie Hardy, Mack Nickles, Virginia Nickles, Suzanne Thipgen. Reception and exhibit open to the public. All courses are computer-based, self-paced and aligned with the Georgia Performance Standards. The cost for each course is $50 per half-unit attempted, and students may register in the guidance office.
