The Georgia Humanities Council offers community program grants of up to $2,000 to support humanities projects developed by organizations working with at least one other community organization.
Applications are due by Feb. 1.
Funds may support one-day programs or help with larger community humanities initiatives. Examples of programs eligible for funding include: a book/author presentation, a humanities speaker presentation (or a series of speakers), a humanities-theme festival, an oral history project, an exhibition or a community historic walking tour.
Programs must be free and involve humanities scholars.
