Sally Moor Moody and Brian Eugene Ussery were united in marriage on Saturday, Oct. 23, 2010, at 5:30 p.m. on the Scottish links of the Orchard Hills Golf Club, Newnan, Ga.
Sally is the daughter of John Walker Moody of Newnan and Larry and Sally Cavanaugh of Atlanta. She is the granddaughter of Eugenia Benson (deceased) and Ed and Robin Benson of Athens, Ga., and Clarence and Virginia Moody (deceased) of Newnan.
The bride is a graduate of North Springs High School, Atlanta, and the University of Georgia, Athens.
Brian is the son of Gene and Vicki Ussery of Thomson. He is the grandson of E. Marvin Silcox (deceased) and Pauline W. Silcox of Jacksonville, Fla., and James and Oretta Ussery (both deceased) of Jacksonville, Fla.
The groom is a graduate of Savannah Christian Preparatory School, Savannah, Ga., and the University of Georgia. He is employed at Search Discovery Inc. in Atlanta as director of search engine optimization technology.
The bride was given in marriage by her father, and the groom's father served as best man.
After the ceremony, guests enjoyed a cocktail hour followed by dinner and an evening of dancing to the band Limelight of Atlanta. Local residents who attended were John and Katherine McNeil, Andy and Angela Blair, Cindy Hughes and Hoke and Alicia Brantley.
The couple honeymooned at the Sky Beach Club on the island of Eleuthera.
Mr. and Mrs. Ussery are making their home in Atlanta.
