Mr. James Clark Farr
NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. - Mr. James Clark Farr,
77 entered into rest January 16, 2011. He was the
beloved husband of Joanne S. Farr.
Funeral services were held at 3 p.m., Tuesday,
January 18, 2011, at the Beggs Funeral Home
Chapel with Rev. Steve Stokes officiating.. Interment
followed in Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens
Pallbearers were Michael Griffith, Chris Griffith, Casey Griffith,
Keith Stone, Kelsey Jones and Franke Jones.
Mr. Farr was a native of McDuffie County, and son of the late
Robert Joe Farr and late Kathleen Logue Farr. He was retired from
Kimberly-Clarke as a truck driver. Mr. Farr served in the U.S. Navy
during the Korean conflict. He was a Baptist by faith.
Survivors include his wife, Joanne Stone Farr; daughters and sonsin-
law, Judy and Wayne Ansley of Thomson, Cindy and Dennis
Jones of Norwood, and Joy and Darren Hollowell of North Augusta,
S.C.; sister, Joann Hudson of Thomson; and six grandchildren,
Daniel Ansley, Matthew Ansley, Kelsey Jones, Franke Jones, Jared
Hollowell, and Emily Hollowell.
Memorials may be made to the Jud C Hickey Center For
Alzheimers Care, 1901 Central Ave., Augusta, GA 30904.
Beggs Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
