Local students graduate from GSU
Georgia Southern University held one of its largest spring commencements on Dec. 10.
Because of the record number of graduates, the fall commencement in Hanner Fieldhouse took place in three separate ceremonies: 9 and 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.

Jonte Kennebrew, and Taylor Pennington, Lincolnton .
Georgia Southern University, a Carnegie Doctoral/Research University, offers 112 degree programs serving 19,000 students.
Through eight colleges, the university offers bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degree programs.
