Mr. Commodore Dewey Howell, Sr., Roofer
DEARING, Ga. - Mr. Commodore Dewey Howell, Sr., 40, of
Dearing, entered into rest February 6, 2011.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, February 9,
2011 at the Beggs Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mike Sutphin
officiating.
Mr. Howell was a lifelong resident of McDuffie County and was a
roofer. He was a member of Mt. Beulah Baptist Church.
Survivors include his mother, Mary Helen Newsome and
husband, Randy, Wrens; sons, Commodore Dewey Howell, Jr., and
Christopher Howell, both of Dearing; daughters, Catherine Dianne
Reeves, Harlem, and Katie Lynn Howell, Dearing; brothers, Wayne
Howell, Wrens, and Victor Howell, James Howell and wife, Nicky;
sister, Penny Chaney all of Dearing; grandchildren, Riley Kain
Howell and Peyten R. Evans
Beggs Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
