Mr. Johnny Irby
NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. - Mr. Johnny Irby, 79, entered into
rest February 15, 2011. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m.,
Saturday, February 19, 2011, at the Beggs Funeral Home Chapel
with Rev. Butch Baston officiating. Interment followed in Bethel
United Methodist Church Cemetery in Glascock County.
Mr. Irby was born in Glascock County, and was the son of the
late Lowe Irby and the late Susie Bales Irby. He was a U.S. Navy
Veteran and worked with Civil Service at Ft. Gordon.
Survivors include: brother; J. T. Irby of Thomson; sisters; Mattie
Irby Black of Gibson, GA and Lucille Irby Edmonds of Bradenton,
FL.
Beggs Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
