Mrs. Kathryn "Kay" Hixenbaugh Jobes
THOMSON, Ga. - Mrs. Kathryn "Kay" Hixenbaugh Jobes, 92 of
Thomson, entered into rest February 25, 2011 at Doctor's Hospital.
She was the beloved wife of the late Grover Junior Jobes.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, March 01, 2011
at the Beggs Funeral Home Chapel with Matt Shelton officiating.
Interment followed in Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers were George Atnip, Gary Palmer, Bob Martin, Cody
Martin, Shane Martin and Tom Hixenbaugh.
Mrs. Jobes was born in Hundred, West Virginia and was the
daughter of the late Isaac Ray Hixenbaugh and the late Edna
Harlan Hixenbaugh. She was a homemaker and a member of the
Thomson Church of Christ.
Survivors include her son; Glenn Melvin Jobes and wife Wanda;
daughter, Linda Diane Hardy and husband, Lamar all of Thomson;
brothers, Ronald Hixenbaugh and Bill Hixenbaugh both of
Warrenton; sisters, Betty Anderson, Aluippa, PA, Geraldine
Kennedy, Hundred, West Virginia; grandchildren, Lora Christian,
Stacy Taylor, Steven Jobes, Brad Jobes, Douglas Jobes, Christian
Taylor, and 13 great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Thomson Church of Christ, P. O. Box
173, Thomson, GA 30824.
Beggs Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
